Chocolate Chip Cookies
The ultimate goooey and chewy chocolate packed cookies!
Servings: 18 cookies
Ingredients
- 175 g dark brown sugar
- 150 g caster sugar
- 140 g melted vegan butter (not margarine)
- 300 g sifted plain flour
- 0.5 tsp baking powder
- 0.5 tsp bicarbonate powder
- 200 g chopped 70% dark chococlate
- 80 g unsweetened vegan milk
- 1 tsp vanilla paste
Instructions
- In a bowl whisk together the melted butter, dark sugar, caster sugar, milk and vanilla paste
- Add the remaing ingredients; flour, baking powder, bicarb powder and chocolate
- Mix together - then form 18 55g dough balls
- Place on a tray and chill in the fridge till the dough balls are solid - leave these in the fridge for 48 hours for the best flavour
- Heat oven to 180c
- Place balls on tray and leave at room tempreture for 10 minutes
- Bake for 12 minutes - for a softer cookie take out at 12 minutes for a crispier cookie leave in the over for a few minutes longer
- Allow to cool before digging in
