I have always been passionate about cooking, I guess it comes from growing up in a family run catering business. Most weekends were spent in the kitchen helping my parents, and it is something I still enjoy today.
I turned plant based in 2018 the day after my 21st birthday celebrations. I went from full meat eater to cutting everything out, it was probably the worst way to start my plant based journey but it was definitely worth it. Being plant based hasn’t always been a straight forward journey, but it is a journey I have grown to love.
It’s crazy to think if lockdown 1.0 didn’t happen I wouldn’t have wrote this and you wouldn’t be reading this right now. The first UK lockdown is where I really had the time to focus on cooking and improve all my skills. I came to realisation that it’s my true passion and that I want to continue learning and passing on the knowledge I learn. In the last 2 years I have learnt so many new techniques of how to cook to learning how to use different ingredients.
