Another week another dish, this is how I make bang bang tofu!

The base of a bang bang sauce is pretty much sriracha and sweet chilli sauce. Instead sweet chilli sauce I used brown sugar to add that subtle sweetness.

And the key go long lasting crispy tofu is use some rice flour as well as corn flour to coat your tofu.

Did you know it’s so easy to make your own butter at home that tastes just as good if not better than the blocks you can buy.

If you whip double cream long enough it will split into buttermilk and butter. Once rinsed you can add your flavouring. I went for roasted garlic, parsley, tomato purée, paprika and a few more ingredients to add that extra flavour!

MY FIRST SUPPER CLUB!

I had so much fun on the weekend hosting my first ever supper club! Last few weeks have been really stressful from trying to test the menu multiple time, get all the extra bits ready and selling tickets which I found the most difficult. Realised the food industry is so competitive and to sell tickets I felt as if sold my soul doing it. All I can say I believed in myself and managed to sell out.

The whole night flashed before my eyes and I’m so sad it’s over. Which only means I need to start planning my next one!

Couldn’t have made this happen with the best team! And shoutout to @countertalk for all the help finding a venue and advice!

I was craving a chocolate cake and also missing someone really special to me. So I got creative, my Nani loved a cherry cake and I wanted chocolate so I combined both. Sometimes cooking can really take your mind of things and helps cherish memories you have of loved ones who are no longer around.
